Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at NSN Lookup in Melbourne FL remanufacturing Military Diesel Engines. In this role, you will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of diesel engines to US Army and NATO Quality Standards. We welcome Female applicants and try to maintain a healthy 50.50 mix of sexes in all areas of operation.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble Heavy Duty Diesel Engines and Sub-Assemblies
- Inspect Engine Components in accordance with the instructions from OEM and Military Technical Manuals
- Repair Engine Components in accordance with the instructions from OEM and Military Technical Manuals
- Assemble Heavy Duty Diesel Engines
- Assist in Dyno Testing engines for performance
- Assist in training junior mechanics and other assistants on best practices and techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong experience in Detroit Diesel Two-Cycle Maintenance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safe working practices
Training
- You will be given a trial period to demonstrate your core skills.
- Our technical team will provide one-on-one training for each engine model you encounter.
- Self-directed learning is essential for this role.
